Frederick A. Ulbricht, Jr., 52, of South Bend passed away unexpectedly at 9:08 AM Saturday November 23 at Memorial Hospital His loving family was at his bedside. Fred was born on February 6, 1961 in South Bend to Frederick A. Ulbricht Sr., who survives, and Dianna E. (Castle) Ulbricht, who preceded him in death on December 17, 1988.
Fred leaves to celebrate his legacy to his survivors. He is survived by his father Frederick A. Ulbricht Sr., step-mother; Dianne S. Ulbricht, one daughter; Brandy A. Ulbricht of Michigan, one son; Harley I. Ulbricht of Mishawaka, two loving sisters, Elaine Stoner and Deborah Ulbricht, both of South Bend, two step-brothers; Don and Michael Greider, both of South Bend. Also surviving are two grandchildren; Nevaeh and Isaiah Ulbricht, several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous family and friends whom loved him very much.
Known to the world as "Pan Head", Fred had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles that was never ending. The sound of the motor and the wind blowing his long hair allowed him to be free as all the cares of the world slipped on by. He also enjoyed playing the piano and the guitar, and loved all types of music.
Fred was a member of the Laborers Local Union 645, during which he dedicated years of work before retiring in 2009 to pursue his ultimate passion "To Ride".
Although "Pan Head" Fred was taken unexpectedly, his memory will live on in the countless family and friends he touched as he rode in the wind.

Bikers Prayer
May the sun rise in front of you, may the rain fall behind you and the wind follow you.
May the angels of your brothers and sisters who have gone before you guard your travels, for they know the perils of the road ahead of you.
Keep safe through the rough city streets on your way to the land of the swirling turns and rolling hills.
Let the turning colors of fall keep you warm. Let the eagle guide you to the mountain tops.
Let the Moon's light guide you through the night.
May your tires not fail you, nor your engine grow old.
May your bike draw life from the streams you pass. Keep your seat soft and your mind sharp.
Let the air of spring breathe life into your soul, to journey to another adventure beside your brothers and sisters.
Keep the rubber on the road!
Rest in Peace

To my freind, I will miss doing all the things we did and planned to do. Going to dinner, the beach for fireworks, celebrating Branie's birthday with a chinese lantern.
