Leroy V. Clark, 64, of South Bend passed away on Saturday April 5th in his residence after a sudden illness.

Leroy was born on November 28, 1949 in South Bend to the late Warren and Bertha (Burger) Clark.

He worked at Mayflower Auto Parts and Bud’s Machine Shop as a laborer.

On April 8, 1972 in South Bend he married the former Alice J. Hamann, who survives.

Leroy is also survived by three daughters; Jamie L. (Jason) Talboom- Jones of New Carlisle, LeeAnne Pegan of South Bend, and Gina R. (Howard) Lambert of South Bend, one son; Rudy W. Clark of South Bend, and one brother; Richard W. Clark of South Bend. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; Kenny, Jennifer, Jonathan, Cameron, Catherine, Taylor, Leah, Rae Anna, Ray, and Tristan, and two great grandchildren; Aiden and Jayda and one nephew; Warren Clark of South Bend.

Leroy loved NASCAR, motorcycle riding, and collecting guns. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Visitation hours will be Wednesday April 9th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hanley and Son’s “Southwest Chapel” Funeral Home located at 23421 State Road 23 / West Ireland Road.  Funeral services will be private.  

The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to MDA – Northern Indiana Area located at 314 Catalpa #F Mishawaka, IN. 46545 or The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. located at 111 Sunnybrook Court South Bend, IN. 46637.
