Roy T. Ritchie, Jr., 70, of South Bend passed away on Thursday July 16th at his residence after an extended illness.
Roy was born on September 5, 1944 in Centralia, IL to the late Roy, Sr. and Bette June (Jordan) Ritchie.
He is survived by his companion of 24 years Carmen D. Garrett of South Bend, one daughter, Rhonda M. (Troy) Bucher of Vevay, IN; one son, Roy T. (Dawn) Ritchie III of South Bend; one sister, Rose (Ron) Ferris of South Bend; and two brothers, James (Linda) Ritchie of Silver Lake, IN and Robert “Bud” Ritchie of Walkerton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren all whom he loved.
He enjoyed motorcycles, listening to all kinds of music, and collecting records.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday July 25th at Crumstown Cemetery, North Liberty with Pastor Ervin Mize officiating. Roy’s wishes were to be cremated and his family has honored his wishes.
