Ted L. Mobley, 75 of South Bend passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on November 21, 1942 in LaPorte, IN to the late Kenneth G. and Winifred (Heim) Mobley.

On August 14, 1983 in South Bend he married Mary K. Goepfrich who survives.  Ted is also survived by two sons, Wayne (Janine) Mobley of Osceola, IN and Michael (Susan) Mobley of Granger, IN; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister, Kay (Ken) Parkinson of Walkerton, IN.

Ted retired from Interstate Brand Butternut Bread after many years of service in Sales.   He loved to play and watch golf and he also enjoyed gardening.

There will be no visitation or services per Ted’s wishes.

Memorial contribution in Ted’s name may be made to The Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

So sorry to hear of Ted's passing. My family and I knew him through his high school years. We lost touch and often wondered how he was. He was a nice young man and his parents and sister, Kay, treated me with kindness.
