  Bob L Wilson of Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Sunday, October 14th, at The Waterford at Edison Lakes.

 Bob was born in Marshall County, IN on November 23, 1924 to the late Theodore and Goldy Wilson.

 On May 31, 1947, in Elkhart County, IN Bob married Miriam I. Mast. Miriam passed away on June 7, 2018.

 Bob is survived by his daughter, Linda (Dennis) Hestad of Granger and Robert “Roger” (Chris) Wilson of South Bend, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, whom he loved and cherished. Also surviving is his brother, Wayne Wilson of Glen Carbon, IL. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Wilson-Sloman in 1990, one grandson, one granddaughter and his sister, Marcella Cart in 2016.

 Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

 He was employed as a carpenter and a 50-year member of the Carpenter Union Local 413.

 Bob loved fishing, doing carpentry, Notre Dame Football, bowling, painting and drawing artwork.

 He will be dearly missed by his loving family and numerous friends he made during his life journey.

 Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who always placed his family first.

 Memorial contributions can be made in Bob’s name to Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545, or charity of your choice.

 Bob’s wishes were to be cremated, which his loving family honored, with no visitation or services.

 A private burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. at a later date.

 The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel” handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Wilson family.
