Deborah L. (Roman) Hamann, 60, of South Bend, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Christmas Eve, December 24th, with her loving family by her side.

 Debbie was born in South Bend on September 21, 1958 to Jack and Louise (Crighton) Wiltrout of South Bend.

 In Las Vegas, NV, on July 14, 2017, Debbie married Robert A. Hamann, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Heidi A. Roman of South Bend and her loving grandchildren, Carson J. Roman and Grace Lynn Grose, her mother, Louise Wiltrout of South Bend, her sister, Jaci Badics (Frank Johnson) of Granger, niece, Sarah (David) Wieland of Chicago, IL, nephew, Jack Badics of South Bend, step-son, Bill (Diana) Hamann of South Bend, sister-in-laws, Bridgett Stein and Janet Hamann of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Wiltrout.

 Debbie was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was recently employed at Steel Warehouse in South Bend as the Transportation Office Secretary. She was formerly employed at Phoenix International, as an Ocean Export Manager.

 Debbie had an infectious personality, that endeared her to all she came in contact with.

 She loved reading, music, of all kind, sunshine, beaches but best of all, she loved to spend any amount of time with her grandchildren.

 Debbie was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all who knew her.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made in Deborah’s name to: Riley Children’s Hospital, 702 Barnhill Drive, Room 5900, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

 Visitation will be on Thursday, Secember 27th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home "Southwest Chapel" , located at State Road 23/West Ireland Road, South Bend.

 Graveside service will be on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 23465 Edison Road, South Bend, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Tim Stewart officiating.

 The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy to the Hamann family.
