There are no words to express my sorrow at the loss of such a happy, friendly young man. It is so hard to believe he is gone. I extend my deepest sympathies to Derek's family. There has to be no greater grief to bear than losing a child. Or your brother. May God hold you all very tightly as you go on without him. He touched many lives in the short years that God loaned him to us, and he will not be forgotten. It is regrettable that we cannot extend our sympathies in person at this time.
