Thelma M. Dill, 99 of Walkerton, IN, passed away at 8:30 AM Tuesday April 29th at Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton.

Thelma was born on February 21, 1915 in Liberty Township, IN to the late John and Lucy (Schroll) Ullery and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

On July 6, 1935 in Walkerton she married Carl E. Dill who preceded her in death on March 3, 1991.  Thelma was also preceded in death by two sisters; Gaynale McKesson and Florence Anderson and two brothers; John and Dale Ullery.

Mrs. Dill is survived by a son; Larry R. (Barbara) Dill of Walkerton, a daughter; Gaynale J. (Jerry) Scott of Bay City TX, four grandchildren; Steven and Michael Dill and Roger and Daryl Sheaks and six great-grandchildren; April, Kayla, Bryan, Kerri, John and Conner.  She is also survived many nieces and nephews.                      

She will be dearly missed by her loving family, her church family and numerous friends she made during her life’s journey.

Thelma retired from American Home Foods of LaPorte, IN after 11 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, loved going fishing and spending time with family. She was a member of the Walkerton United Methodist Church.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday May 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Walkerton Chapel” located at 1216 Roosevelt Rd, Walkerton.  Funeral services will take place Monday May 5th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Perry Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to donor’s choice.
