Mary M. Staton-Templeton, 91, of South Bend passed away on Saturday February 7th at her residence after an extended illness.                       

She was born on June 26, 1923 in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mary is survived by one son, John W. (Cathy) Staton of South Bend; one sister, Thelma J. Crayton of Orlando FL; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father James Farren; two husbands, Eldon D. Staton and Ellsworth Templeton; one son, Eldon D. Staton; one sister and three brothers.

Mary was a member of the Bowlers County Club.  She enjoyed bowling, golfing, gambling and being with her grandchildren.

Remember me when flowers bloom.

Remember me on sunny days.

Remember me in the fall

And in the wintertime to.

But most of all remember

Right from the start

I will be forever near

For I live within your heart.

There will be no visitation or services, Mary’s wishes were to be cremated and her loving family has honored those wishes.

The family requests all memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospital for Children, International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
