Beverly R. Reed, 66, or South Bend passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11th at her residence.

She was born on September 8, 1949 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Richard H. and Helen L. (McKinney) Grover.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Jessica E. (Brandon) Dowd of South Bend, IN; her two sons, David P. Hobbs and Jason R. (Angela) Hobbs both of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Kayla, Alyson and Carmindy all whom she loved and cherished.  She is also survived by a sister, Debra P. (Thomas) Nowak of South Bend, IN and three brothers, Richard A. (Mildred) Grover of Bremen, IN, Don E. (Amber) Grover of Peru, IN and Kenneth E. (Karen) Grover of South Bend, IN.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice K. Price.

Beverly worked as a Cashier for Walgreens for 30 years.  She enjoyed bowling, Bingo and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

The family request memorial contributions be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN

I am still in shock that you passed away. You will be missed by many. Your grandchildren will miss you as well as many others. I am fortunate that I was your friend. All your troubles are gone now and I pray that you will watch over your family and friends.

I am so shocked to hear about Bev, To David, Jason and Jessie , my heart goes out to you. Bev was a good person and my friend. we car pooled all the kids and was on the bowling team. we had some fun times. she will be missed. I hope she finds peace in Heaven, Fly High BEV , you will be missed.
