Beverly J. Stone, 91, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, January 24th at Sanctuary of St. Paul’s.

 Beverly was born on December 10, 1927, in South Bend, IN.  the late Clark P. and Gladys M. (Shirk) Kleine.

  On August 8, 1946, in South Bend, she married Clarence R. Stone. Clarence passed away on January 18, 2019.

  Beverly is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Allen) Schieber of Logansport, IN. and son, Douglas (Twila) Stone of New Carlisle, IN., loving grandchildren; Melissa Kissling, Amy Myers, Kiel Stone, Erika Thornton and great-grandchildren; Jacob Kissling, Molly Kissling, William Myers, Mekenzie Thornton and Colton Thornton. She also survived by her sister, Judith Brown of New Carlisle. Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Clark P. Kleine, Jr.

  Beverly enjoyed collecting glassware, auctions, gardening, but especially loved spending time with her loving family. She retired as a farmer’s wife. She was a member of the WHC Circle.

  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made, in Clarence and Beverly’s name, to Hamilton Church, 31519 Chicago Trail, New Carlisle, IN. 46552 or to donor choice.

  Visitation for Clarence and Beverly will be Friday, January 25, 2019, 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel”, located at 23421 State Road 23/West Ireland Road, South Bend, IN.

  The Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., Hamilton Church, 31519 Chicago Trail, New Carlisle, IN., with Pastor Terry Bucholtz, officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Hamilton Church Cemetery following the service.

  The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements, services and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Stone family.
