Alyce J. (Solmos) Speicher

Alyce J. Speicher, 82 of Walkerton passed away in her daughter’s home on September 1st following an extended illness.

 She was born in Valparaiso to the late Louie and Marie (Marhoffer) Solmos on July 11, 1938. Alyce is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Coleen and Tim Malone of Walkerton and one granddaughter, Amanda (Steve) Reitz of Terre Haute, IN and sisters: Marie Watts and Virginia Douglas both of Valparaiso. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis, Jr., Robert and John Solmos.

 Alyce retired from QMA Qualified Medical Asst. following forty years of service.

 She enjoyed reading, was an avid Notre Dame fan, New England Patriots, and NASCAR, but enjoyed the time with her loving family, especially at Christmas time.

 Memorial contributions may be made in Alyce’s name to the Marshall County Humane Society, 11165 13th Road, Plymouth, IN 46563.
