Andrew A. “Andy” McDonald, 57 of North Liberty passed away on February 21st in his home in North Liberty. Andy was born on November 16th, 1964, in Waukegan, IL to the late James E. and Susan E. (Jerdee) McDonald.

Andy is survived by his sisters: Diane Schlemmer-McDonald of Bremen, Sandy J. (Richard) Scott and Kristine M. McDonald both of North Liberty and his brother, Michael J. McDonald also of North Liberty and 10 nieces and nephews living in IN, IL and GA.

He formerly worked at Linpac Corporation in GA and Howmet Corporation in Indiana. He had a passion for guitars, buying and working on them, a love for hard rock music, loved all sports, mostly football and liked wresting.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
