  Donald D. Holston, 63 of South Bend passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend following an illness.

  Don was born in South Bend to the late Erdmund and Charlotte (Fuller) Holston on May 14, 1958. On December 30, 1989, in South Bend, Don married Michelle E. Gocza, (they just celebrated their 32nd anniversary), who survives along with their daughter, Lindsey M. (Zachary) Morehouse of Marcellus, MI and son, Ryan N. Holston of South Bend, two (2) granddaughters, Zayla and Zoey Morehouse, two (2) sisters, Carmen Garrett and Melissa Denunzio both of South Bend and a brother, Paul (Connie) Holston also of South Bend and two (2) sister-in-laws, Betty Holston and Virginia Holston. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brothers, Erdmann and William Holston.

  Don liked to play bingo, go to the casino, collecting elephants, but especially loved being with his family and granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made in Don’s name to the funeral home to help the family with their expenses: 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, IN 46614.

  The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date for Don. Cremation has taken place.
