Edward E. Petill

  Edward E. Petill, 66, of Marion, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IN following an extended illness. 

  Edward was born on December 11, 1956 in South Bend, IN to Eugene I. and Lyda M. (Howard) Petill.   He is survived by his father, Eugene I. Petill of Lakeville, a loving daughter, Angie (Dan) Fink of Mishawaka and two brothers, Matthew Petill of Dayton, OH and Ted (Fedra) Petill of Plantation, Florida.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Lyda M. (Howard) Petill. 

 Edward proudly serviced in the United States Navy.  He always enjoyed listening to his music and watching a good movie. 

Friends may gather for visitation on Saturday, March 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a service celebrating Edward’s life to be held at 4:00 p.m at the Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel”, 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, IN with Pastor Vito Rulli officiating.  Burial will take place at Porter Rae Cemetery, North Liberty, IN.
