Eldon W. Ploetz

  Eldon W. Ploetz, 84, of South Bend passed away on Monday, September 13th at Raclin House at Center of Hospice in Mishawaka.

  Eldon was born on October 27, 1936 in Kewanee, IL to the late Raymond W. and Evelyn F. (Barr) Ploetz.

  On December 27, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN Eldon married Sharon L. Fosheim. Sharon survives along with their daughter, Gayle D. Kinzie of South Bend and sons, Kris W. (Trisha) Ploetz of Evansville and Terry M (Beth) Ploetz of South Bend and 6 loving grandchildren. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kari A. Erwin in 2016 and son, Michael in 1965.

  After graduating from college, he went into banking until his retirement, a job he enjoyed for many years. They have lived back in the Michiana area since 2018 coming from Evansville, IN.

  There will be no service or visitation and cremation has taken place.
