Enid (Michaelson) Clark, 80, of Walkerton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Goshen Hospital, due to an extended illness.
Enid was born on August 29, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late, Isaac Irving and Elizabeth “Betty” (Brown) Michaelson. She grew up in Gary, Indiana and moved to Walkerton in 1979. She was united in marriage to Larry D. Clark, of Walkerton on April 19, 1980. They spent almost 35 years together before his passing on January 31, 2014.
Enid was a loving homemaker. Spending time with her family brought her the most joy out of life, especially her time spent with all the grandkids. She had a special love for her dog Bruno, along with her passion for birds. She loved feeding the birds in the wild, even hand fed and helped raise exotic birds.
Enid is survived by her daughter, Sharon M. (William) Snyder of Portage, IN, her sons Raymond M. (Kellie) Duran of Bristol, and Steven C. (Andrea) Duran of Valparaiso, along with her bonus- children, Deana M. Mitchell of North Liberty, and Michael D. (France) Clark of Mishawaka. She was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Rochelle M. Klimek of Chesterton, along with ten nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and nephews and seventeen great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Lillian (Robert) Tarchala, and brother-in-law Lawrence Klimek.
The family is following Enid’s wishes to be cremated with no services. There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 2 pm est, at the VFW Post 1954, 66992 Tamarack Rd, North Liberty IN. In honor of Enid’s life, memorial contributions are being left up to the Donor’s choice.
