Eugene was born on August 17, 1934, in South Bend, to the late Carl and Elsie (Radtke) Wiley.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ellen Burnham and Donna Banacki, by his brother, Carl Wiley and by the mother of his children, Dorothy.

Eugene is survived by his three daughters, Cheryl Carr of North Liberty, Rochelle (Richard) Suski of Mishawaka, and Karol (Charles) Straub of South Bend, and by his son Jeff (Shelley) Wiley of Walkerton.  He was the proud grandpa of 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sisters, Pat Wegenka of South Bend, and Sharon Blackmond of Mishawaka, and by his brother, Richard (Carolyn) Wiley of Noblesville, IN.

Eugene proudly served his country in the United State Army during the Vietnam era and was a member of the American Legion Post 189 in Walkerton.   He was retired from Wells Aluminum in North Liberty, which gave him more time to spend with his loving family and brought him the greatest joy.  He was also a lifelong custom car enthusiast.
