Flor DeMaria Sanz Hernandez

Flor DeMaria Sanz Hernandez, of South Bend, passed into eternal life on the evening of Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Goshen General Hospital at the age of 66.

Flor was born on February 21, 1958, in Mexico, to the late Federico Sanz Reyes and Amparo Hernandez Hernandez.  She was united in marriage to Ezequiel Cisneros, who is left behind to cherish her memory, along with her daughter, Flor Cisneros of South Bend, and her sons, Angel Starsky Araiza Sanz and Eduardo Cisneros both of South Bend and her six beautiful grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Sanz Hernandez, Lucia Leonor Sanz Hernandez, Amparo Sanz Hernandez, and Cayo Julio Cesar Sanz, along with several other siblings, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Flor was preceded in death by her daughter, Amparo Sanz Hernandez, her sister, Magnolia Sanz Hernandez and her brother, Luis Alfonso Sanz Hernandez.

Flor moved to the South Bend area in 2000 from San Diego, California.  She was employed at StateWide Windows in Elkhart.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. They will greatly miss her.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, 23421 S. R. 23, South Bend, IN 46614, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m.  Flor will be laid to rest at Sumption Prairie Cemetery in South Bend following service.  In honor of Flor, memorial contributions may be made to Donor’s choice.
