Jane A. (Swihart) Pittman

Jane A. Pittman, 84, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw, IN following an extended illness.

Jane was born on August 1, 1938, in North Liberty, IN to the late, Claude and Blanche (Sheneman) Swihart. Jane is survived by her sons Kent D. Pittman of Chesterton, IN and Gregg C. Pittman of North Liberty, IN and four grandchildren, Douglas, Jesse Lee, Aubree Lynn and Emmalane Hope Pittman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wyman Doyle Pittman, granddaughter, Katherine Pittman and her brother, Ellis Swihart.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, sightseeing and going to garage sales. 

Memorial contributions can be made in Jane's memory to her sons Gregg C. Pittman, 26577 New Road, North Liberty, IN 46554, to help with funeral expenses.

The family will have a Celebration of Life to honor Jane on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home "Southwest Chapel" located at 23421 State Road 23, South Bend, with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until service at 2:00 P.M. burial to follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery.

The Hanley and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Jane's family and friends.
