Keith R. Borton

 Keith R. Borton, 79, of Walkerton, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, IN. following an extended illness.

 Keith was born on June 29, 1941 in North Liberty, IN to the late James L. and Helen C. (Nelson) Borton.

 On July 1, 1965, in North Liberty Keith married Ruby J. Gensinger. Ruby passed away on January 22, 2012.

 Keith is survived by his sons; Robert G. (Sabrina) Borton of Walkerton, IN and Keith J. Borton of South Bend, IN and granddaughter, Megan R. Borton of North Liberty, IN. Also surviving are his sisters, Alma Free of South Bend, Zella Luallen of Galesburg, IL, five brothers, Terry, Dale, Lynn, Glen and Carl Borton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Iona Cole, brothers, James, Howard “Porky” and Merle Borton.

 He was employed as a truck driver for numerous companies, and belonged to UAW. Local 5. Keith enjoyed going to local races, NASCAR and relaxing on his front porch.

 There will be no services or visitation, the family is honoring Keith's wishes, cremation will take place.
