Larry E. Clark, of Walkerton, passed away in the afternoon of Monday, July 14, 2025, in Memorial Hospital at the age of 78.
Larry was born on August 22, 1946, in South Bend, to the late Kenneth D. and Gleo P. (Roush) Clark. In 1966, Larry proudly enlisted into the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge from his service to his country, he returned home to marry the love of his life, Susan Paul, on February 8, 1969, in Lakeville.
Larry was a farmer all his life. Enjoying the simple things, such as spending time talking with his many friends. He was an avid pet lover. Larry’s greatest joy came from spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of American Legion Post #365 in North Liberty and a member of IBEW #153, serving 55 years in the trade.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Susan, along with their children, Jennifer Lynn (Jeremy) Hunter of South Bend, Paul K. (Theresa) Clark of Walkerton and Timothy E. (Diana) Clark of Mishawaka. Larry was the proud grandfather of seven, Matthew Clark, Timothy Clark Jr., Melissa Clark (Evan), Kerri Clark, Christine Hunter, Casie Hunter and Jacob Cormican. Larry is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Barb) Clark of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Albert, Charles and Rudy.
It was Larry’s wishes to be cremated. There will be a graveside service with military honors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday August 23, 2025 in Fair Cemetery of North Liberty. A celebration of Larry's life will be that afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #365, 308 S. Reed, North Liberty, IN 46554. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post # 365 of North Liberty.
