Lewis Gene Miller

Lewis Gene Miller, 71, of Niles, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 29, 2024. 

Lewis was born on May 12, 1952, in Marion, Indiana, to the late Richard E. and Betty H. (Troxell) Miller.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerald Troxell.

Lewis is survived by his children, Mary B. (Travis) Schori of South Bend and Charles R. (Nicole) Miller of White Pigeon.  He was the proud grandpa of four grandchildren, Ryan Laperriere, Lilyan Roberts, Matthew and Ethan Schori.  He is also survived by his loving companion, Jenny Chapla of Niles and by his brother, Mitchell D. Miller of Irons, MI. 

Lewis was a lifelong resident to the Michiana area.  He was retired from his self-employed business in the sanitation industry.  He was a race car enthusiast and had an admiration for semi-trucks.  His greatest joy and happiest moments were when he was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

The family is following Lewis’s wishes to be cremated with no services.
