Lonnie C. Hensley

  Lonnie C. Hensley, 64, of South Bend, passed away in his home unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 2nd.

  Lonnie was born on October 23rd, 1957, in Chicopee Falls, MA. to Jimmie E. and Shirley A. (Patesel) Hensley. Lonnie is survived by his mother, Shirley of South Bend, daughter, Kascha (David) Koelling and son, Dylan (Alexandrea) Hensley, both of Brownsburg, IN, three (3) loving grandchildren: Alonna and Jaxon Koelling and Damien Hensley. He is also survived by his brothers, Jimmie E. (Tracy) and William L. Hensley both of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie, his sisters, Melody Jean Kelley and Lynn Marie Benton.

  He was employed as a machinist at Scotty's Hydraulics in Plymouth, IN. Lonnie liked to go fishing, working on cars, watching Notre Dame football and being with his loving family, especially those grandkids.

  The family will have a Celebration of Life on Thursday, February 10th at the Clay Social Club, 109 East Pendle Street, South Bend, IN, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

  The family request NO flowers, contributions may be made to donor’s choice.
