Mary Kathryn Mullin Clark, 89 of North Liberty was called into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in her North Liberty home of natural causes.
Mary was born in South Bend, IN to Harold and Edna (Chadderdon) Mullin. At the age of 12 her family moved to Tamarack Rd. in North Liberty and then to Queens Rd. in Teagarden.
In September 1944, she married Jean R. Clark of North Liberty and in 1946 they moved back to North Liberty. In later years, she divorced him and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2003.
Mary was a domestic goddess, worked at the Silo Manufacturing Co. part time and retired from United Technology in Plymouth.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in North Liberty where she was the Sunday School Superintendent and sang in the church choir and also sang in the Plymouth Community Choir. She was member of the Kingdom of God Fellowship in North Liberty. She enjoyed baking, singing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three children, Judith Clark Rose of North Liberty, Michael (Karin Morris) Clark of North Liberty and Lee-Ellen (Don) DeGrasse of Huston, TX; four grandchildren, Troy (Lori) Holland of Wakarusa, Kyle (Mindy) Rose of Walkerton, Michelle Clark of Lakeville and Jeffrey (Anna) Clark of Redondo Beach, CA and five great grandchildren, Cassie King of Indianapolis, Sophie Clark of Redondo Beach, CA and Lainie, Luke and Landon Holland of Wakarusa.
Mary was preceded in death by her two siblings, Margaret Mullin Adams and Harold E. Mullin, Jr.
Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, December 18th at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Walkerton Chapel” located at 1216 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 19th at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Kennedy officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.
