Please accept my sincere condolences to the entire family. Mike and I attended what was then Washington Clay High School and were in the band, clarinet section. Often I think of the wonderful relationship our group had playing duets, trios, quartets, etc., at contest. Four of our group were juniors, then seniors the last year I participated. Mike was sophomore, then junior, and I was a freshman, then sophomore. We were all serious about our music but had the most fun too! Mike was one of the nicest young men I ever knew. God bless you all!

It was such a shock to see that Mike, whom I had known for many years, has died.  He
was a great help to my son in pitching and baseball in general.  My deepest sympathy
at your loss.

I am so very sorry.  I remember like it was yesterday...Talking to him after a baseball game that he attended to watch us play.  What struck me at that time is how genuine he was to me and how much he knew about about baseball.  And...More importantly...He cared about me as an individual.  I am thankful that he played a part in my life.  I am praying for all of you.

we are so sorry to hear this. God bless you Sue and family.  My husband Mike spent many days out on the lake fishing with Dunk over the years. He was a wonderful, kind person. We were driving by Christiana Lake in Edwardsburg a few days ago and my husband was reminiscing about fishing tales with his cousin Len and your husband. My husband had spoken to him a month or so ago and so enjoyed talking to him and was hoping to do so again. we will miss him. God bless all of you
