Penelope “Penny” Morgan, of South Bend, passed away on the morning of Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the age of 85.
Penny was born on May 4, 1940, in Gary, Indiana, to Marshall Parry and Billie (Wood) Offer. After graduating from Calumet High School, she moved to Arizona and worked for a title company. On September 9, 1986, in Scottsdale, Arizona, she married Ray Morgan. She enjoyed doing puzzles and games, especially crossword puzzles. Her creativity was almost limitless, from crafting and sewing to scrapbooking, creating cards and books. She had been published 13 times in various crafting publications. She was also known to be a wonderful cook. As Ray put it she “could do just about anything.”
Penny is survived her loving husband, Ray, her daughter, Laura (Richard) Garcia, of Palm Desert, California, and by her sister, Pamela Davis, of Valparaiso, Indiana.
As per Penny’s wishes cremation is to take place with a service celebrating her life to be held at a later date.
