Rebecca (Becky) Vachon

Rebecca (Becky) Vachon, 25, of South Bend passed away on Friday October 24th in her residence.

She was born on October 21, 1989 at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. to Douglas A. Vachon and Erma J. (Donovan) Plough. She has resided here in the Michiana area for 18 days, coming from Kankakee, IL.

Rebecca is survived by her boyfriend; Tommy Zimmer of South Bend, father; Douglas A. Vachon and step-mother; Julie Vachon, both of Florida, mother; Erma J. Plough and step-father; Scott Plough, both of Colorado. She is also survived by maternal grandparents; David (Judy) Price of CO., paternal grandparents; Donald Vachon of FL. and Deanne Cormier of AL., two sons; Jayden Pepper of Knoxville, TN. and Skylar Vachon of Akron, OH., one sister; Casey M. Vachon of FL., and one brother; Andrew D. Vachon of CO.

Rebecca enjoyed computer games, sketching, and comic books.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday October 30th from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM at Hanley and Sons “Southwest Chapel” Funeral Home located at 23421 State Rd 23, South Bend. Services will begin at 9:00 AM with Father David Porterfield officiating.

Rebecca’s wishes were to be cremated and her loving family has honored those wishes. Cremation has taken place.
