Robert "Rob" A. Robinson

Robert A. Robinson, 64, of Walkerton, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, February 27th at home in the company of his loving family.

Rob was born on July 29, 1960, in Laporte, Indiana to Marion J. and Mary E. (Buell) Robinson, and was a life-long resident of Mill Creek, Indiana. On July 23, 1994, he married the love of his life, Jody M. Lowry.

Rob was a hard worker and a member of Union Laborer's Union 81, who took great pride in his work ethic.   He enjoyed tending to his garden, cooking, singing, and raising hunting dogs.  However, hunting and fishing with his best friends and family were his favorite hobbies.

Rob is survived by his loving wife, Jody M. Robinson, along with their children, Jessica (Ryan) Banic of Laporte, Rachelle (Brad) Pearson of Valparaiso, Heather (Dustin) Whitehead of Goshen and Caleb (Morgan) Robinson of Laporte. He was the proud grandfather of Briar, Briggs, Boone and Emerson. Rob is also survived by his siblings, Rebecca (Mike) Henning of Mill Creek, Kim (Roger) Danitschek of Laporte, Jake (Sandy) Robinson of Laporte, Gary Robinson of Laporte, Jan (Nina) Robinson of Spring City, Tennessee and brother-in-law, Dave Lehman of Pikeville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Beth Lehman and his brother, Tom Robinson.

As per Rob’s wishes, cremation is to take place with a remembrance gathering held at a later date. Memorial contributions to honor Rob’s life may be made to Camp Mollenhour, 10265 S 600 W, Silver Lake, IN 46982, to sponsor youth in learning conservation skills. He loved igniting new found passions in the outdoors.
