Sarah Joan E. (Driscoll) Ruff

  Joan E. Ruff, 85, passed away in the early morning of Monday, April 18th at a hospice home care facility in South Bend following an extended illness.

  Joan was born in Piqua, Ohio on January 23, 1937, to the late Fred W. and Thelma W. (Sackett) Driscoll.

  She married Robert W. Ruff on October 20th, 1967, in Muncie, IN. Bob passed away in December 2013. Joan is survived by her son, Timothy J. (Sue) Duke of South Bend and her brother, Jon C. Driscoll of Losantville, IN, five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

  Visitation for Joan will be on Thursday, April 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel” located at 23421 State Road 23/West Ireland Road. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, Windsor, IN on Friday, April 22nd.
