Sharon L. Kunde

Sharon L. Kunde, 76, of North Liberty, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in her home due to an extended illness.

Sharon was born on April 10, 1947, in South Bend, to the late Francis E. and Joan (Krienke) Kunde.  She was a lifelong resident to the area.  Sharon retired from Trustcorp Mortgage Company as an Accountant.  She enjoyed spending her time reading a good book, sewing and had a love for traveling.  Sharon was a true animal lover.  She loved riding and showing horses and was a member of the St. Joseph County 4-H. She loved playing with her beloved dogs, Heidi, Sabrina, Sid, Sophie and Mollie at the park.   She was also an avid Corvette lover and was a member of the Corvette Club.

Sharon is survived by a sister, Linda (Joseph) Kleca of LaPorte, by a niece, Christine (Scott) Wilson of South Bend, by three nephews, Michael (Natalie) Palmer of New Carlisle, Brian (Amanda) Palmer of New Carlisle, and Bret Enright of South Bend, and by a great nephew Lucas Wilson.   She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jackie A. Enright. 

Sharon’s family would like to thank her close friend and neighbor, Jason Goodsell, who was always there to help Sharon and looked after her on a daily basis.  The family appreciates everything Jason has done. 

The family is following Sharon’s wishes to be cremated.  There will be a private celebration of Sharon’s life at a later date.  In honor of Sharon’s name memorial contributions can be made to Pet Refuge, Inc., 4626 S. Burnett Dr., South Bend, IN 46614.
