Stephen Singleton Obituary

Stephen D. Singleton, 66, of Lakeville, Indiana, died on August 28, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Steve was a general sales manager for orthopedic device companies in Maryland and started up his own consulting company after moving back to his Indiana roots. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Singleton, his daughter, Mandolin Arochas, his son-in-law, Jon Arochas, his son, Benjamin Singleton, his brothers, Scott Singleton, and Shaun Singleton, his mother, Norma Jean Singleton, his grandson, Niko Arochas, his granddaughter, Arya Arochas and his step-mother, Diana Singleton. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Singleton and uncle, Kenneth Singleton.

Steve was most passionate about his two children, his Christian faith, and taking on projects to help others. He especially loved fishing, hunting and farming along-side his Uncle Ken. Steve was a deep thinker, had a strong eye for details, was mechanically inclined, exhibited a dry sense of humor, and loved reading Scripture daily from his Grandma’s Bible. He relished spending time creating a beautiful refuge at his home in the woods and greatly appreciated nature. His joy was spending time with his beloved wife, Sheryl, and staying active with gardening, hiking, kayaking, skiing, painting and cooking. He appreciated antiques, and his old clocks brought him joy.

A life, so beautiful deserves a special celebration. You are invited to help us honor the life of Steve. Leave your sadness at the door, but bring rather your stories, your laughs, and your happiness over a life that was lived to the fullest.
