Steven Lloyd Germain

  Steven Lloyd Germain, 59, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 15,2022. He was born in Michigan City, IN on September 9, 1962.

  Upon graduation from high school, Steve proudly served in the United States Army. He was a laborer until his health declined. He later moved from Michigan City to South Bend, IN where he resided until his death.

  Steve was born to the late Ronald and Faye (Lloyd) Germain in Michigan City, IN. He was preceded in death by his only child, Travis Lloyd, on November 28, 2021. Steve is survived by his sisters, Ronda (Jim) Peter of Mendon, MI, Lynn (John) Kolodziej of Mishawaka, IN, Donna (John) Voor of   Mishawaka, IN and by his brother, Jeffrey Germain, of Florida. Steve is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

  Steve treasured moments that included landscaping, camping, canoeing, grilling, and watching western movies. He also had a way of making others laugh. Steve, and his gentle soul, was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. 

  Due to Covid19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
