Tanya D. (Spurgeon) Beery

Tanya D. Beery, 67, of Teegarden, Indiana passed away after an extended illness during the early morning hours of November 20th.
    Tanya was born in Princeton, Indiana on February 17,1955 to Elmer P. and Ethel B. (Hale) Spurgeon. Tanya married the love of her life, Virgil R. Beery in Lakeville, Indiana on December 11, 1976.  She was a life-long Michiana resident and retired as a bus driver for the Plymouth Community Schools. Tanya was a social butterfly who enjoyed quilting, yet her greatest joy came from being with her loving family and her dear friends.
    Tanya is survived by her loving husband, Virgil R. Beery, and their 2 daughters, Angela R. Mills of Teegarden, IN, and Lindsey M. (Ted) Schrader of Edwardsburg, Michigan. She was the proud grandmother of 4, William F. Mills V, Aden J. Mills, Keaton D. Schrader, and Clayton T. Schrader. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Janice Carol Williams, Larry G. Spurgeon, Joseph A. Spurgeon, Paul D. Spurgeon and Robert S. Spurgeon.
    Friends may visit with the family on Monday, November, 28th from 3:30 until 5:30pm in the Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1216 Roosevelt Rd., Walkerton. A service celebrating Tanya’s life will be held at 5:30pm in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Keck officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Uniontown Cemetery in Uniontown, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made in Tanya’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
