Tosh Alan Mason

  Tosh Alan Mason, 42, passed away following an accident in South Bend on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

  Tosh was born in Phoenix, AZ on April 1st, 1980, to Tonah L. Mason of South Bend and Christopher A. Hawn of St. Joseph, MI.

  He was raised in the Michiana area, attended Penn High School and went on to study at Portland State University, lived in his beloved Portland, OR most of his adult life. Tosh was an ordained minister, a true calling.  His passion in life centered in mathematical reasoning and universe fascination. His writings, reading and knowledge were infectious. Tosh’s trademark suits and fedora fueled his distinct style and energy, just like his music passion. Tosh had a fierce love and loyalty to his family and friends.  Be at peace “Tosh Man”, you are loved. “He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.”

Tosh is survived by his mother, Tonah, his father, Christopher and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by many treasured family members and friends of both Tonah Mason and Christopher Hawn.

 Memorial contributions may be made in Tosh’s name to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnette Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.

 The family will have a Celebration of Life for Tosh at a later date.
