Tracy Hudson

Tracy Hudson, 59, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly in her home, on the morning of Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Tracy was born on December 9, 1963, in South Bend, where she remained a lifelong resident.  On August 28, 1993, in Mishawaka, she married James R. Hudson, Sr., who survives.  She is also survived by her two daughters, Amanda Y. Harradon of South Bend, and Ashley Y. (John) Kelley of South Bend and by her son James R. (Kylie) Hudson, Jr. and by her three loving grandchildren, Ashlyn Y. Harradon, Caprice E. Marshall, and John D. Kelley, Jr.  Also surviving are her sisters, Georgia Ann (Tony) Gannon of Florida, and Frances M. (Tony) Wisniewski of Mishawaka and by her brothers, Michael L. Rodgers of Florida, Richard H. Rodgers of Florida, Mark A. Rodgers of Indianapolis and Todd E. (Nearyah)Rodgers of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ingrid Rodgers, by her daughter, Amber Y Harradon, by her sisters Nola G., Nora E., and Linda M. Hawkins and by her brother, Harry J. Rodgers.

Tracy was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking meals for her family and loved all the time she got to spend with them, especially with her grand babies.  She also enjoyed reading, watching any science fiction movie or taking a trip to the casino.  She was also an avid Bingo player. 

Tracy’s family is following her wishes to be cremated with no services.  In honor of Tracy, memorial contributions can be made to St. Margaret’s House, 117 N. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, IN 46601.
