Nancy L. Northam, 79, of Walkerton passed away at 8:45 PM on Friday March 14 
at Miller’s Merry Manor Walkerton. 
 Nancy was born on July 4, 1934 in Inwood, IN. to the late Russell and Agnes 
(Hoffman) Neiswender. 
On October 23, 1954 in Walkerton, IN, as the former Nancy L. Neiswender she 
married Robert W. Northam who preceded her in death on February 13th, 2014. 
Nancy is survived by one son; Mark W. (Shelly) Northam of Macy, IN.; one 
daughter; Jill J. (Scott) Hostetler of Walkerton, two sisters; Marcille (John) 
Welborn of North Manchester, IN. and Marilyn (Dick) Brantley of Walkerton, one 
sister in law; Phyllis Neiswender of LaPaz, IN ., and one brother; Ralph (Phyllis) 
Neiswender of Walkerton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Joshua 
Northam, Carly Sims, Katie Ready, Jason Northam, and Emma Jane Hostetler, 
and four great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, one 
sister; Ruth Neiswender, and two brothers; Tom and Charles Neiswender. 
Nancy enjoyed wreath making, wood crafts, shopping, flowers, traveling, and 
spending time with her family and grandchildren. She graduated from 
Walkerton High School Class of 1952 as Salutatorian. Nancy was also a member 
of Walkerton United Methodist Church. 
She will be dearly missed by her loving family, her church family, and all who 
knew her during her life journey. 
Visitation will be Tuesday March 18th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hanley and 
Sons Funeral Home “Walkerton Chapel” located at 1216 Roosevelt Road 
Walkerton. Services will be Wednesday March 19th at 11:00 AM at Walkerton 
United Methodist Church with Pastor Perry Richards officiating. Friends may 
visit at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn 
Cemetery in Walkerton. 
The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to Walkerton 
United Methodist Church located at 1000 Georgia St, Walkerton, IN 46574.

Dear Mark and Jill and families,
To my Mother, Nancy was not only a sister, but a best friend. Our parents had such good times. Your parents were so good to help move my parents to the nursing home. Their love and support will be remembered always by myself and my family. Our love and sympathy to all.
