   Tina M. (Eddy) Michels, 58, passed away in her home on Thursday, April 15tth unexpectedly.

  Tina was born on January 2, 1963, in South Bend to Floyd L. Eddy and Nancy A. Whitmer. Tina is survived by her mother, Nancy A. (Gary) Whitmer, father, Floyd L. (Carol) Eddy, daughters: Brookeann Michels of Mishawaka and Amber B. (Aidan) Hershberger of Las Vegas, NV, grandson, Bryson Michels and her brother, Larry F. (Kelly) Eddy of South Bend. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins from the Verhagen and Eddy families.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassidy Bice and her cat, BoDiddley.

  She was employed at the Four Winds Casino for the last few years. A job she loved, the people, especially, she never met a stranger, she could talk with everyone. Tina was an animal lover, especially her cat Siami, her only companion, whom she adored, feeding the birds and kriders, a promise to her Grandpa Eddy, and her job at the casino. Tina would say, “this is my last job (working at the casino) my last rodeo” She worked at Martins Supermarket at Erskine Plaza for over thirty years, enjoying all the customers that she knew and knew her, always smiling and friendly. Tina was a hardworking and loving individual. She will be dearly missed by numerous friends she made in her life, but mostly, her family, whom she dearly loved and loved her.

  In lieu of flowers, Tina would be happy if you made contributions to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614 in her name.

  A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 24th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel” located at 23421 State Road 23/West Ireland Road. Covid restrictions will be in place. Masks would be appreciated.

  The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Tina’s family and friends.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. I worked with Tina at four winds casino. We worked in buffet and at timbers together..she was always kind and joyous to be around..she will be missed..may she rest in peace..

So sorry for your loss, I worked with tina at fourwinds casino, she will be dearly missed, she always made everyone laugh and I always liked talking with her and also when she showed me pictures of her cat may she rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to your family. I worked with Tina for 3 years and in that time we got to be friends. She was funny and kind and loved to talk about how much she loved her family and her cats and how she loved feeding the squirrels. I will miss her dearly.
